United Airlines announces the addition of three new flights to Shuttlesworth International Airport located at Birmingham International Airport for college football games in September, October, and November in Alabama.
A direct flight will operate to Birmingham from Wisconsin on September 13th. United will then depart with its 50-seat Bombardier CRJ-550 from Knoxville on October 18th to transport passengers attending the Crimson Tide game being played that day. The airline’s schedule will also include a flight from Louisiana on November 8.
These three flights will be added to the twenty other routes announced by United Airlines to cover this football event.
