When and how to file a claim with United Airlines?

A United Airlines flight cancellation, significant delay, denied boarding due to overbooking, or lost or delayed baggage: in all these situations, the passenger has the right to claim a refund from the airline. Furthermore, they are entitled to compensation for the inconvenience suffered.

Monetary compensation, travel credit, missing miles, ticket or booking fee refunds… with United Airlines, refunds and compensation are not automatic; therefore, the passenger must submit a claim.

The absence of certain pre-booked services such as special meals, seats, priority boarding, and upgrades can also be grounds for a claim with United Airlines.
