The ultimate guide to obtaining your JetBlue Airways boarding pass

Are you travelling with JetBlue soon? Here’s how to prepare for your boarding:

Every passenger preparing to travel with JetBlue must have their boarding pass on the day of their flight.

It is already known that to obtain this document, the passenger must confirm their check-in for this flight with JetBlue.

JetBlue offers two types of boarding passes

At JetBlue Airways, the boarding pass can be issued in two formats:

– Paper boarding pass (To print):

Upon checking in for their flight, passengers receive their JetBlue boarding pass in PDF format, ready to print.

Print your boarding pass from the check-in kiosks at the airport

Even if you checked in online, simply go to a JetBlue self-service kiosk (available at most airports in the United States) to print your pass or save it to Apple Wallet.

If you’re already checked in, access your reservation from the My Trips section and request to print or issue your boarding pass.

– Online Boarding Pass:

Called an electronic boarding pass, it can be downloaded by the passenger after check-in from the My Trips area, and can be printed or saved on their phone.

  • JetBlue mobile boarding pass

This is also an electronic document that passengers can download from the JetBlue mobile app and save to their Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

Passengers can thus turn their smartphone into a boarding pass, allowing them to quickly and easily pass through ticket control and board with complete peace of mind.

This document is self-scanning, meaning it can be read by the automatic scanners at the boarding gates. Therefore, the passenger can scan their document and proceed directly to the boarding area without assistance from JetBlue staff and without queuing.

Error in JetBlue boarding pass

If, after receiving your JetBlue boarding pass, you realize you misspelled your name or surname, or if the document contains other incorrect information such as an incorrect seat number or the wrong departure date or time, your boarding pass will be invalid and you will be denied boarding.

The only remaining solution is to check in again and generate a new boarding pass.

If the check-in deadline has passed, you should go to the JetBlue check-in counter as soon as possible to request assistance.

What to do if you lose your boarding pass?

Upon arrival at the airport, the passenger may find that they have lost their boarding pass or have accidentally deleted their electronic document from their mobile phone, but there is no need to worry, as the boarding pass remains stored in the passenger’s My Trips account and can be accessed at any time to retrieve their document.

Boarding process on JetBlue flights

It’s a well-established process, everything is clearly marked, you just have to let yourself be guided by the JetBlue boarding agents.

JetBlue boarding timeĀ

Boarding times must be displayed both on your boarding pass and on the display screens near the boarding gate.

– Domestic flights: Boarding closes 15 minutes before departure.

Boarding time for passengers travelling in a group on JetBlue

For passengers traveling in a group with JetBlue Airways, check-in must be completed at the airport. The group leader must go to the JetBlue counter with each group member’s documents to complete this process and obtain their boarding pass. A single document is issued containing the flight information and each member’s details.

For domestic flights, group members are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before their scheduled flight. For international flights, it is recommended to arrive at the airport 3 hours before departure, as the check-in process can take longer.
