As you likely know, Spirit Airlines ceased operations on May 2, 2026, after filing for bankruptcy.
The U.S. low-cost carrier announced an orderly shutdown of its operations effective immediately; all flights were cancelled, and customer service is no longer available.

Can you reach Spirit customer service by phone?
Doing so won’t get you anywhere. There is no longer a Spirit call center or email address, and the usual contact channels can no longer resolve refund issues. Any number listed online as Spirit’s reservation or claims department is therefore either outdated or misleading.
The only official contact: the claims agent
Bankruptcy-related inquiries are now handled by the designated claims agent, Epiq Global. Here are the contact details published on Spirit’s official page:
Website: dm.epiq11.com/SpiritAirlines
Phone (US and Canada, toll-free): (855) 952 6606
Phone (International): (971) 715 2831
How can you get a refund from Spirit Airlines?
For passengers holding a valid Spirit reservation who paid by card via the airline’s website, Spirit has stated that it will automatically refund tickets purchased directly from them using a credit or debit card. Consequently, passengers do not need to take any action, though the credit may take some time to appear on their statement. If an automatic refund is not processed, paying by credit or debit card remains the passenger’s best protection: a flight cancelled by an airline that has gone out of business entitles the passenger to dispute the charge. You should contact the issuing bank to explain that the service was not provided and that the airline has ceased operations. Be sure to keep your booking confirmation and the record of the charge.
Bookings made via a third-party agency
Spirit requires passengers to contact the agency directly to obtain a refund.
Regarding vouchers, credits, or points: these are generally no longer honored after operations cease. Their status will be determined during the bankruptcy proceedings, and holders must go through the claims administrator.
