Delta Airlines is innovating by launching premium services exclusively for its premium customers: check-in areas providing greater passenger comfort, larger, more luxurious VIP lounges, and more Delta One, Premium Select and Comfort+ seats on its aircraft.
Increasing revenue generated by premium customers

Delta Airlines’ goal is to have developed a large part of its efficiency gains by capturing a larger market share of premium customers. Moreover, premium revenues generated during the last quarter were 13% higher than revenues from its standard cabins, a valuable indication of its potential to generate more revenue by attracting more premium customers.
Delta Airlines expands its offering for Business Travelers
According to Glen Hauenstein, CEO of Delta Airlines: “Becoming the one-stop shop for a large portion of business travelers, who today generate up to 40% of our premium revenue, is our airline’s stated ambition,” while not neglecting leisure travelers seeking premium service, who also constitute an equally fundamental part of its revenue.
