United Airlines: Apple TV+ series now available for free onboard

What’s more enjoyable than watching exclusive Apple TV+ series during the flight? United Airlines has surprised its customers with a tempting new entertainment offering.

From now on, passengers traveling on United Airlines, particularly on long-haul flights can access select series and movies broadcast exclusively on Apple TV+ for free.

Access is free and is available on all aircraft equipped with seatback devices. In fact, several of the airline’s aircraft are equipped with 27-inch 4K OLED screens with Bluetooth connectivity, some of the largest ever installed on aircraft.

With the current streaming offering, United Airlines passengers already have access to thousands of hours of content, including movies, series, news, news, TV shows, flight and destination information, and more. They can also take advantage of this opportunity to book excursions, activities, or restaurants.

Now, on most United Airlines medium and long-haul flights operated by aircraft such as the Boeing 777, 787, and 767, passengers can activate Bluetooth on their iPhone to connect it to the TV screen installed in front of them on the plane. They will then be able to access all the latest content and original productions on Apple TV+.

Mark Muren, Managing Director of Product and Loyalty at United, said: “At United Airlines, we know that inflight entertainment is an important aspect of travel for our customers, especially on long-haul flights. We look forward to welcoming our customers on board and watching them catch up on their favorite series on Apple TV+ with more than 250 episodes accessible via our 4K OLED screens.”
