Frontier Airlines launches new service to offer more flexibility to its customers

Frontier Airlines customers booking a flight to any destination within its network will benefit from new service flexibility.

Frontier Airlines is launching a service called Disruption Assistance for Any Reason, which can be purchased when booking their flight on Flyfrontier.com. This innovative solution is a first of its kind in the airline industry. It helps passengers quickly find an alternative flight if their original flight is canceled or delayed by more than two hours. The concept is simple yet practical: Frontier Airlines helps impacted passengers find a flight to their destination offered by any other airline.

The idea behind this product was to address the growth of so-called “low-cost” airlines on routes (short or medium-haul) subject to strong competition, such as “transtasman” routes between New Zealand and Australia.

By signing up for this service, passengers receive notifications informing them of the availability of replacement flights. Otherwise, they will also have the option to cancel and request a refund.

Frontier Airlines announced that its new service was established in cooperation with HTS, a B2B division of the travel platform Hopper.
