American Airlines is rewarding premium members of its AAdvantage loyalty program.
The U.S. national carrier is surprising its AAdvantage members across all program tiers.
Starting this month, AAdvantage members can enjoy free Wi-Fi on all American Airlines flights and in all travel classes: Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Main Cabin Extra, Premium Economy, Business Class, and First Class.
Before the launch of this offer, only passengers traveling in Premium Economy, Business Class, and First Class, or Silver, Gold, and Platinum members, benefited from free Wi-Fi.
Heather Garboden, Chief Customer Officer at American Airlines, said: “We are continuously improving the in-flight customer experience, and we are delighted to offer free Wi-Fi to AAdvantage members for the duration of their long-haul flights. Long-haul passengers can now continue to rely on free high-speed internet connectivity that will enhance and personalize their journeys.”
With this new offer, American Airlines has become the third airline to offer free in-flight Wi-Fi after Delta Air Lines and United Airlines introduced the service.
