American Airlines extends flights between Eagle County and Charlotte

American Airlines will maintain its direct flights between Eagle County and Charlotte-Douglas throughout the winter season. While the last flight on this route was scheduled for early January 2026, the American airline has changed its mind and decided to extend its service until April 6 of next year.

American Airlines announced in a press release that it will operate a daily flight between Eagle County Airport and Charlottestarting December 18th and ending January 5th, and then between February 12th and April 6th.

“Demand is growing strongly on this route, and we are proud to be able to meet the needs of our customers in Eagle East, Colorado, and to offer them more and more attractive destinations, such as Charlotte, throughout the year,” AA announced in a statement.

This daily flight, operated by an A319 with 128 passengers, is scheduled to depart Eagle County at 9:00 a.m. and arrive in Charlotte at 11:10 a.m.

The return flight departs Charlotte Douglas Airport the following day at 11:15 a.m., arriving at Eagle County Regional Airport at 4:45 p.m.
