American Airlines has announced a new daily route connecting Philadelphia to Budapest, Bulgaria, with a launch scheduled for May 2026.
Customers of the American airline can take this long-haul flight from May 21st of next year to October 5th of the same year. AA will fly daily to Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport, offering more than 3,000 seats per week thanks to its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, which can accommodate 234 seats in three cabins: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
AA is unrivaled on this route, which strengthens its presence in Europe. According to Márton Nagy, Minister of National Economy of Hungary: “Our country warmly welcomes the arrival of American Airlines at Budapest Airport.” “Their decision to launch this route is a strong vote of confidence in a potentially successful operation during the summer period.”
