For the first time in its history, Allegiant Air has won the Skytrax award for Best Low-Cost Airlines operating in North America.
The event was organized as part of the 2025 World Airline Awards, which took place on June 17, 2025, in Paris.
Allegiant Air was recognized for the consistent presence of its low-cost offerings, which were considered the best on the market this year.
The airline, based at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, is particularly appreciated for the diversity of its vacation destinations and the low prices of its airfares.
Ranking of the World’s Best Low-Cost Airlines in 2025
This year’s Skytrax ranking highlights the expertise of Asian airlines. Indeed, AirAsia won the award for the world’s best low-cost airline for the 16th consecutive year, followed by Scoot and Indigo, which took second and third place.
