Alaska Airlines : Its winter schedule expands with seven new flights

Alaska Airlines has announced the opening of seven new direct routes connecting several destinations across California and the Pacific Northwest, offering visitors a variety of winter activities, such as cross-country skiing, backpacking safaris, and husky rides.

During the period from October 26 to January 7, 2026, Alaska Airlines will operate between three and seven weekly frequencies on the following routes:

– A daily flight between Burbank and Eugene operates year-round.

– Alaska Airlines also flies weekly to Pasco from Burbank and will operate at the same frequency on its Burbank-Redmond route.

The American carrier, however, is offering seasonal service on four new routes. Starting October 26th, it will inaugurate its flight connecting Palm Springs to Santa Rosa (which will subsequently be served three times weekly) and will then land in Sun Valley on December 18th from its San Diego hub to announce the launch of a service that will operate three times a week throughout the winter season.

Alaska Airlines’ schedule will also include two other scheduled, daily flights between Boise and Ontario, and between Spokane and Orange County, starting January 7th.

It should be noted that all these flights will be operated by Embraer 175 aircraft, which can accommodate 76 passengers in two cabins.
