Alaska Airlines increases flights between Los Angeles and La Paz

With the winter season fast approaching, the SeaTac-based carrier plans to boost its non-stop service between Los Angeles and the capital of Baja California Sur, Mexico.

Alaska Airlines is now operating this route four times a week, adding an extra frequency for its winter schedule.

New LAX–LAP flight schedule

The new schedule unveiled by Alaska Airlines includes flights on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Departures from Los Angeles International Airport are set for 11:30 AM (local time), with arrival at Manuel Márquez de León Airport scheduled after a flight time of approximately two and a half hours.

On the return leg, the flight departs La Paz around 2:00 PM and lands in Los Angeles after a flight of approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes.

This route is operated using an Embraer E175 aircraft with a 76-seat capacity, flown on behalf of Alaska Airlines by its regional partner, SkyWest Airlines.

A rapidly expanding network

Beyond La Paz, Alaska Airlines currently serves nine Mexican cities with direct flights from its U.S. hub: Cancún, Guadalajara, Ixtapa, La Paz, Loreto, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta, and San José del Cabo.
