Delta Airlines is beginning to offer its customers flight fares set using artificial intelligence. The Atlanta-based carrier announced that by December, up to 20% of its domestic flight fares will be set by AI.
During a conference call with The Points Guy, Delta Air Lines CEO Glen Hauenstein said, “The new AI assisted pricing solution will be rolled out gradually until it is applied across our entire network taking into account its effectiveness and customer feedback.”
“We hope this solution will enable us to transform our customers experience and better meet their expectations in finding and booking the best deals within their travel budget” he added.
An authentic solution to enrich the customer experience
Last year, Delta Air Lines was ranked among the top 10 best airlines in the world, and with this new approach to AI, it aims to offer its customers an even more powerful and personalized solution to help them better optimize their travel management.
