United Airlines: 35 years of success on its Paris-Chicago route

United Airlines has just celebrated the 35th anniversary of its Paris-Chicago service.

In 1990, the American national airline launched its first commercial service between these two major destinations using its 168-seat Boeing 767-200ER.

According to GrĂ©goire Dutoit, United Airlines’ Director of Sales for France, who was in Paris to mark the event, “Celebrating this historic service between Paris and Chicago is an opportunity for me to reaffirm United Airlines’ commitment and special ties to the historic French capital.”

“Every day, our team of hundreds of employees, including cabin crew, technical crew, operations staff, administrative and commercial staff, are committed to providing our customers with high-quality service,” he emphasized.

“Since its launch 35 years ago, this flight has been used by more than 4 million passengers to fly to the third-largest destination in the United States, with the opportunity to benefit from connections to more than 100 destinations from Chicago O’Hare Airport, United Airlines’ main hub,” added G. Dutoit.

Intensified flight schedule between France and the United States

The flight is scheduled for 11:15 a.m.

This flight is complemented by several other routes connecting several destinations in both countries, such as Paris – San Francisco, Nice – Newark and Nice – Washington.
